Hannah Kasper

Hannah Kasper (b. 1981 in Ossining, New York), holds a BFA in Painting from the Tyler School of Art (Philadelphia and Rome) and an MFA from the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. Hannah’s paintings have been exhibited both nationally and abroad (Iceland, Beijing, Berlin, Scotland) and are held in several private collections. Her art & culture writing appears weekly in the Dayton Daily News with her “A Day in the Life” series featuring creative Daytonians. She is an experienced art educator, having taught in Los Angeles, New York City, and Dayton. Hannah was an artistic collaborator in DDI Season 5, Making Moves: The CoLAB, for which she painted a scenic backdrop to accompany Jennifer Sydor’s choreography for “In the Wake”. Hannah lives with her husband and two children in Oakwood, Ohio and keeps an art studio in the Linden-Davis building in East Dayton.
