Connor Barak

Connor Barak is a company dancer with the Dayton Ballet and is excited to be a part of Dayton Dance Initiative for the first time! Connor Barak is from Kent, Ohio, where he trained at Ballet Theatre of Ohio and Meneer School of Dance under the direction of Christine Meneer for 10 years. He then studied at Butler University and graduated in May 2024 with a B.S. in Dance Arts Administration and Spanish. While at Butler, Connor performed roles including Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake and The Nutcracker Prince in The Nutcracker. He also performed in contemporary pieces including Ourfire by Jennifer Archibald and Bronze by Maria Konrad. When not in the studio, he is passionate about increasing accessibility to the arts and has worked with Butler Community Arts School, helping run over 20 arts summer camps.
